On the eve of the festive season, the town of Epernay, in partnership with the Comité de l'Avenue de Champagne, is offering the Habits de Lumière, three days of festivities focusing on the art of living in the Champagne region. This year, the event will be held on 13, 14 and 15 December 2024.

THE LIGHTHOUSE OF VERZENAY
To promote his champagne brand, a man from Champagne decided to pull off a publicity stunt. He decided to build a lighthouse on a hillock in the middle of the Champagne vineyards! In the evening, the lantern began to turn, illuminating the hills around Verzenay until it could be seen from Reims. It was one of the first reinforced concrete buildings in the region.
